This week, Le Relais ski center hosted the Freestyle Ski World Cup, an international event that delivered an impressive show for winter sports fans. This venue, which recently underwent major upgrades to improve its slopes and infrastructure, will host competitions during the Canada Games in 2027.
For the Host Society, this World Cup kicked off a series of preparatory events focused on testing site improvements and equipment, which will later be donated to various sports organizations. These events are also an opportunity to launch volunteer recruitment, essential to the success of the Games.
The World Cup organizers expressed their appreciation for the investments made by the Games to enhance sports venues. And to add to the celebration, our mascot Kebby was on-site to meet spectators and share the spirit of the Games!
