The Host Society of the 2027 Canada Games in Quebec City is proud to announce two new competition venues for badminton, cross-country skiing, and para nordic skiing.
Badminton competitions will be held at the Pavillon de l’Éducation physique et des sports (PEPS) sports complex at Université Laval.
The site meets the standards of the Canada Games Council and Badminton Canada without requiring any modifications to existing infrastructure.
With this addition, PEPS will now host three sports during the Games: wheelchair basketball, hockey, and badminton.
Cross-country and para nordic skiing events will take place in the heart of Quebec City on the Plains of Abraham.
This site was selected for its accessibility to athletes and spectators and its compliance with the standards of the Canada Games Council and Nordiq Canada.
The PEPS and Plains of Abraham venues reflect the Host Society’s commitment to hosting the Games at athlete-focused, welcoming, and centrally located sites.
