The 2027 Canada Games will provide thousands of young athletes with an opportunity to push their limits, share their passion for sport, and take part in an experience they will remember for years to come. Ensuring that this experience is truly accessible to everyone is a key part of preparing for the Games, making the creation of an inclusive environment an essential priority.
That is why Mobilis Foundation has chosen to support the 2027 Canada Games. Established in 2009 by automobile and heavy-truck dealers from the Greater Québec City region who are members of Mobilis Corporation, the Foundation’s mission is to help improve the quality of life of individuals living with mobility-related disabilities.
This commitment is a natural extension of that mission. Mobilis Foundation will notably support wheelchair basketball and the Games’ Universal Accessibility Program, two initiatives that help foster participation and create a more inclusive Games experience.
Wheelchair basketball will provide athletes with an opportunity to showcase their talent, determination, and passion in front of audiences from across the country. At the same time, the Universal Accessibility Program will help ensure that the various venues and experiences offered throughout the Games can be enjoyed by as many people as possible, while taking into account the needs of individuals with differing abilities.
For Mobilis Foundation, supporting these initiatives is a tangible way to put its mission into action and contribute to an experience that extends beyond sport.
